A LIVING HOPE
2 Corinthians 4:18
"So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever."

Hope is not only my middle name—it’s a reminder of a priceless promise to you and me. Hope is found in our Savior, Jesus Christ.
Growing up, I treated going to church on Sundays like an inconvenient chore. I didn’t know what it looked like to live a Christ-like life, and I had no clue how to actually read my Bible. When I was in middle school, a friend invited me to youth group, and I had a sweet moment of accepting the Lord into my heart and receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit. I was baptized and on fire for the Lord!
In high school, I considered myself a Christian but was living a lukewarm life and following the desires of my worldly flesh. I had idols and put other things above God. After high school graduation, I had a moment of surrender. After struggling with depression and bitterness, I finally knew it was time to give God the reins of my life.
It was a steadfast process, but I have so many amazing people to thank for helping me see my worth as a daughter of the King Most High. Though my life is not “perfect” and I still struggle to fight the flesh, I have joy in the midst of chaos and peace in rocky waters.
The GOOD NEWS is that this promise was made for me—and for YOU!
John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Jesus loves us so much, but sin separated us from God. Jesus died a brutal death on the cross, nailing every sin you and I have ever committed—or will ever commit. He asks us to follow Him, and through His covenant and the death of Jesus Christ, we have the promise of eternal life in a perfect heaven!!
Death is no more. This is the Living Hope!
